Learn about voting by mail.
Vote-by-mail voters can change their mind and not use their paper ballot to vote.
You can go to your assigned polling place and vote in person using a paper ballot, which is called a “Provisional Ballot”. The Provisional Ballot will be processed once all Mail-In Ballots have been received and tabulated. This security process ensures that voters do not vote more than once in any election.
Completed Ballots can be returned one of three ways:
- By mail (postmarked by November 8, 8PM must be received by November 14)
- At any of the 30 drop box locations in Morris county. Click here to see a map of ballot drop box locations.
- Deliver in person to Morris County Board of Elections' office in Morristown (M - F 8:30AM to 4:30PM)
