Morris County Commissioner Candidates
Legislative District 26 Candidates

Michael P. Mancuso
Candidate for NJ State Assembly, Legislative District 26
Michael Mancuso is a lifelong resident of New Jersey, and a passionate advocate for the Morris County community. Graduating from Montclair State University with a Bachelors degree in Justice Studies, Michael has built a career as a service technician, where he helps people every day. His commitment to public service lead him to run for the NJ LD-26 Assembly. Michael is fueled by the shifting political climate and the belief that government should prioritize the welfare of its citizens over corporations. A proud homeowner in Pequannock, Michael actively serves on the town’s Environmental Committee, working to ensure that residents have access to a safe and clean environment. Additionally, he contributes his time to a local nonprofit that supports the town’s animal shelter, helping provide food for the animals and raising funds.

Walter Mielarczyk
Candidate for NJ State Assembly, Legislative District 26
Walter Mielarczyk is a candidate for the New Jersey General Assembly representing LD-26. He grew up and continues to live in Pequannock, where he also earned the rank of Eagle Scout by serving his local community. Walter graduated Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology and currently he works as a R&D Engineering Manager for a NJ based vertical farming company, specializing in growing strawberries indoors. Walter is running for General Assembly because he is concerned about the direction our county has been going. In Trenton, Walter will defend womenβs rights and reach across the aisle to protect children from gun violence. He will work to build a better future for New Jerseyβs children by supporting Governor Phil Murphyβs Universal Pre-K plan and establishing a statewide free school lunch program to make sure no child goes hungry.
