Morris County Convention is where we, as a party, decide who on the county, federal, and state level office we endorse. This event determines who we as a party will bracket with and provide our slogan, “Morris County Democratic Committee, Inc.”

Voting Rights are given to:

• County Committee Members
• Municipal Chairs
• Democratic Elected Officials
• State Committee Members
• County E-Board
• Caucus Chairs

Election Basic Information:

• Voting Starts at the end of our convention and ends at midnight on Sunday. Results will be announced by the Close of Business on Monday.
• What elections one can vote in is determined by their registered voting address.
  • Voters that live in CD7 vote in CD7, Voters in CD11 vote in CD11.
• Voting members only get a single vote per election.
• In the case of a tie, the County Chair decides.
• The vote will be online through Opavote and who one votes for is secret.
• The voting Method will be single and multi-winner plurality

• Two Female State Committee Positions
• Three County Commissioners 
• One Surrogate Candidate
• Congressional Candidate For CD11
• Congressional Candidate For CD7
• US Senate
• US President
